Does Rep. John Moolenaar Support the Right to Life?

Saturday, CBP operatives threw Alex Pretti onto his face on the pavement of a Minneapolis street and shot him in the back ten or more times, killing him. The Trump administration, which Representative John Moolenaar supports unwaveringly, immediately published massive lies aimed at exonerating the killers and blaming the dead victim. (See my previous post, The Hour of Decision.)

Today I read the newsletter that Congress Man John Moolenaar emailed to constituents Friday, less than a full day before the killing of Alex Pretti.

The text of his email reads:

Hi James,

I believe every life has value and deserves protection. That is why I continue to stand for the right to life and policies that protect unborn children.

I want to hear directly from you. Where do you stand on this issue?

Sincerely,
John

My reply, which I posted to my social media accounts with a screenshot of his newsletter:

What a timely survey, Congressman John Moolenaar! As it happens, I’m very right-to-life. I think you should definitely look into the abortion your president’s operatives performed on Alex Pretti on the streets of Minneapolis Saturday. I mean, he definitely had a heartbeat and seemed perfectly viable until they threw him down on the pavement and shot him in the back a dozen times. I think he had a right to life. What do YOU think?

Representative John Moolenaar has not issued a statement condemning the killing of Alex Pretti and calling for the prosecution of those who stopped his beating heart and the impeachment of those who told lies to justify failing to arrest and charge them.

If Representative John Moolenaar supports the right to life (not to mention the rights to liberty and the pursuit of happiness), he will issue such a statement. But honestly, I don’t think he does.
